Upgraded my GT-i9305T to the latest CyanogenMod nightly, and had quite a few issues. Namely, my phone would no longer connect to 3G/4G, and the APN settings were blank.  Trying to re-enter APN settings didn’t work (nothing would go into the APN list!).  I tried rolling back to a previous nightly, but then the phone just kept rebooting.

I was working on fixing my manufacturing spreadsheets for EVE Online to make it a bit more automated.  And in order to do that, I needed to be able to calculate production time and material costs for blueprints straight from the raw BP data.  Anyway, it turns out that the formula at EVEDev is close, but not quite right.  Following are the formulas that actually work.

Went and installed the latest nightly for my i9305T.  What I didn’t notice was the nightly is for CyanogenMod 10.2, which is based on Android 4.3 .  Since the version of Google Apps I had installed was for Android 4.2, it went badly.

Last night my VPS provider relocated my VPS instance to a new host, which should have better performance, and even better (for me) provides reverse DNS capability.  Everything should be back up, but because I got a new IP address, it may be an hour or so until everyone’s DNS caches update.

I’ve been doing various things in KSP since I last posted about it.  Re-did the Mun landing in the manner of Apollo 11, even including doing the midflight module reorganization so that the lander was on top.  The project I’ve been currently working on has been to assemble a space platform for holding fuel and other supplies for more remote missions to stock up on once entering orbit.
