Well, my VOIP ATA has been working just fine for the past few weeks.  Except for yesterday.  My ADSL modem lost sync and therefore gained a new external IP address, and there the problems started.  From that point on, my ATA could not register with my SIP provider.  I even rebooted the ATA, and it made no difference.

With the release of OpenELEC 4.0, XBMC 13 (Gotham) is now available!  For those of us driving a media center with a Raspberry Pi, this is great news (there’s significant performance improvements on the RPI).

As discussed in the last post, I adjusted my dial plan to the following;

Picked myself up a Cisco SPA112 to replace the wonky built-in VOIP capability of my router.  However, I seem to have some unusual behaviour.  Namely, when I take my cordless phone off the hook, I only get about 4 seconds to start entering numbers before the ATA switches over to the “off hook alarm” mode and rejects any further digits.  Unfortunately, the phone’s built-in dialer waits a few seconds before starting to dial, so it’s pretty random whether you can dial or not.

Edit 25th Feb:  Discovered a bug in the logic, apparently UNION order isn’t guaranteed.  Reworked the script so it does the right thing now.

So, I have two computers with three monitors each - my home setup (3 x 2560x1440 monitors) and my work setup (3 x 1920x1200 monitors).  I want to have a collection of surround (ie, 16:3 aspect ratio) wallpapers and also to tile three regular 16:9 or 16:10 wallpapers so that one appears on each monitor.
